Japanese Food Sake Festival is making a comeback in bangalore and it will take place online

The Consulate General of Japan in Bangalore will host its Japan Food Sake Festival virtually this year, for the first time. Celebrating Japan’s culture and cuisine, the Consulate General of Japan has planned an interactive virtual food festival where visitors can order food right to their doorstep through food delivery services. The annual Japanese food festival will return in virtual mode this time. In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Indiaan online event will be held from February 28 to March 6.

The festival will showcase Japanese cuisine and sake with the aim of increasing recognition of Japanese cuisine, sake and Japanese food culture in the region of Karnataka and the rest of India.

For a week, the comprehensive website will feature Japanese restaurants in the city showcasing their cultural specialties as well as links to order home delivery. The team has partnered with online food delivery services like Zomato and Dunzo. The website will also contain information about Japanese sake, Japanese whiskey, and Japanese wine.

The alcohol section will be age restricted and will only contain information about alcohol and there will be no option to order it online.
