Discover Japanese food products at the grocer’s event until August 7

Pavilion Bukit Jalil food vendor in Kuala Lumpur is holding the “Discover the Authentic Taste of Japan” campaign until August 7 for shoppers to experience the best of Japan.

A total of 500 Japanese products are showcased, ranging from high-end groceries and fresh ingredients to snacks, confectionery and beverages, including sake.

Activities include tasting fresh Japanese ingredients as well as sake tastings.

A masterclass dedicated to sake was also held on July 21 for connoisseurs of the alcoholic beverage.

The launch was attended by Mai Onozawar, Managing Director of the Japan External Trade Organization, alongside Datuk Joyce Yap, Managing Director of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (Retail), Ong Kim Too, Group Chairman of The Food Purveyor, and Kok Kian Kee, Merchandising Manager.

Also in attendance were The Food Merchant’s Managing Director, Ivan Tan, and Executive Director, Datuk Edward Siew.
