Savor the Japanese chef’s special menu with unlimited sake every Wednesday!
Bombay : Claridges has thrown its heart into introducing guests to Japan at the recently launched Japanese Food Festival. While customers can enjoy the dishes any day of the week, the chef’s special menu will be available on ‘Sushi Suiyobi’, which translates to ‘Sushi Wednesday’. Pickwick is ready to offer curated traditional Japanese cuisine with culinary opulence.
To celebrate the cuisine, the signature menu includes sake, robatayaki, pork belly salads and truffle edamame. While the Japanese use of toppings such as mushrooms and black tiger prawns on pizza is where two worlds collide, the traditional 24k gold leaf dustings, Aioili smothering with truffles and the avocado bites on the tuna pizza take fine dining to the next level. Chef Borja’s special rolls deliciously capture the intriguing flavors, guests can savor asparagus cream cheese maki, fire cracker maki, shiitake maki, dynamite maki, real California maki, crocodile maki made with black tiger prawn tempura, crab stick, unagi, tobiko, avocado and Kabayaki sauce. The full menu also includes Nigiri And Sashimi, Yakimeshi and Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried rice), Yasai Miso-Itame, Herb Shake and Udon Noodles. To wrap up the mini Japan tour, devour desserts like matcha cheesecake, yuzu lemon, passion fruit crème brûlée and wasabi ice cream.
The menu is a straight bite into Japan and promises a wholesome cultural experience. Pickwick has become a favorite among diners for its intricate menu and relaxing ambience which blends perfectly with its central location in Lutyens’ Delhi.
