“Tokyo is always one of my favorites in Wichita. It’s our go-to place for sushi. The servers are very attentive and patient. They know there are so many great choices, but they notice so quickly when you are ready to order. My husband and I split the spicy salmon dinner and ordered extra soup and shared the salad. It was just enough and we brought some home for the grandson We ordered the pork meatballs. They were a bit sticky which is just perfect for the meatballs. The filling was nicely spiced and flavorful – not bland at all. The salmon rolls were crisp and fresh as always. D others at the table ordered the boxed dinner, sushi dinner and special rolls. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I really can’t say enough good things about Tokyo. It’s also very affordable , especially at noon and on Sunday round, Tuesday and Thursday. -Mary Halsig

“It was my first time and I’m already planning to go back! I had so much fun and the food was so good!! My favorite drink was the Zombie, with a fiery shot inside a lime. I enjoyed the chef’s delight with chicken and shrimp. Definitely make a reservation and take the time and keep in mind that you might still have a bit of a wait. I suggest having a drink or two at the bar. –Jerica Jones

“We stopped here on our road trip and it was a great find. I had the tonkatsu (pork) with garlic seasoned rice. It was delicious, especially the rice. The pork was a bit dry and chewy, but the breading had a good flavor. Hubby had the spicy miso ramen and it was full of flavor. Next time I want to try their boba teas. – Katie Bergh

“The best sushi we’ve ever eaten?” It was super fresh, good melt in the mouth. We tried spring rolls, crab cakes, To Heaven, Rainbow, Dragon and Philadelphia rolls. Frequent weekly seafood shipments combined with a fantastic sushi chef and great staff made this a visit to remember and hopefully one to repeat. Cheerful 5 stars!” –Lisa DeSpain
